The Museum Frieder Burda offers its visitors a diverse education programme for all age groups.
In addition to regular public tours of the current exhibitions, we also offer private tours with experienced art educators.
The tours are carried out in a special group tour system which guarantees perfect acoustics transmission.
We are also happy to organise exclusive private tours outside normal opening times for an extra charge.
Our museum is barrier-free and has been designated as a handicapped accessible house. The visit of the exhibition and the guided tour by our art historian Dr. Barbara Clemens are especially designed to meet the needs and possibilities of our older visitors. Dr. Clemens is trained as a cultural guide for senior citizens and seeks to engage in conversation with our guests in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The cost of a visit to the exhibition is 75 Euro for the guided tour plus the reduced group entrance fee of 11 Euro per guest. Tours in Sign Language can also be arranged upon request. For wearers of hearing aids, we also offer teleloops. This makes it possible to participate without difficulty in a scheduled tour using the normal audio guides.
The virtual tour for the new exhibition THE KING IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE QUEEN will be available from June!
The Museum Frieder Burda is now offering virtual tours on regular dates. Tuesdays and Saturdays at 4 p.m. During the tour - as part of a Zoom conference - art historians will lead live and online through the current exhibition and show the artworks of artists on the basis of 360-degree views, both in the exhibition view and in detail. At the same time, participants can ask the guide questions or simply listen. With the live tour, the individual art experience comes directly to your home.

Private family tours
AB 6 JAHREN A museum tour with interesting stories, interesting facts, puzzles and painting to and before the pictures. Parallel to the public adult tour on Sundays from 15 - 16 o'clock.
Duration: 1 hour Fee: 4 Euro for adults, children free of charge without registration
dates: There are no family tours of the current exhibition. You are welcome to book a tour for your family. With a registration we can also bring 1-2 families together.

Children's birthdays
During a private guided tour for children, an experienced course instructor teaches the children works and interesting facts in a clear and child-friendly manner.
In addition, the children receive our creative booklet FRIEDER.
Duration: 1 hour Fee: 50 Euro / max. 10 children additionally bookable: subsequent creative work in the art workshop (children's birthday party, family celebration)

All our customised private tours, binding and reserved in advance, are given by Museum Frieder Burda’s experienced art educators and enable immediate entry to the exhibitions without waiting times. The tours use a group tour system that guarantees perfect acoustic transmission. We are also happy to organise exclusive tours, for an extra charge, at times outside our normal opening hours.
Price: 75 € plus admission (maximum 20 persons per group). Tours in French, English, Russian and Italian are also available. Duration 60 mins. per tour.
