People with walking disabilities may disembark at Lichtentaler Allee at Museum Frieder Burda, which is otherwise closed to traffic. The vehicle must subsequently be parked elsewhere, in line with regulations.

Tours in Sign Language can also be arranged upon request. For wearers of hearing aids, we also offer teleloops. This makes it possible to participate without difficulty in a scheduled tour using the normal audio guides.

EXPERIENCE THE SENSES AND AWAKEN MEMORIES

Feel, see, hear, smell – laugh and grasp. The museum’s wellbeing program for the anniversary exhibition "I Feel the Earth Whisper" is about the unadulterated and easy and joyful (re-)discovery of the familiar and the new – through art. Led by experienced guides Dr. Jenny Dopita, Dr. Martina Sauer and Eric Schütt, the museum offers two special program focuses:

"Art in the morning with all senses" enables people with autism to perceive art in a comprehensive and enriching way.

"Art memories" gives people with dementia and their carers access to art and cultural experiences.

Available free of charge at the cash desk.
