ENSEMBLE. CENTRE POMPIDOU – FRIEDER BURDA

06 April – 29 September 2019

One highlight of exhibition year 2019 is a visit by the collection of the Centre Pompidou from Paris to Museum Frieder Burda, the elegant ‘jewel in the park’ built by Richard Meier on the renowned Lichtentaler Allee. The 15th anniversary of the museum will be marked by another milestone in the Franco-German friendship, with an appearance by masterpieces from one of the most important art collections in the world. With the addition of high-caliber works from the Collection Frieder Burda, the exhibition will be a fascinating art ensemble ranging from classical modern and contemporary art to the renaissance of the German art scene in the mid-1960s.
