The Museum Frieder Burda offers its visitors a diverse education programme for all age groups. In addition to regular public tours of the current exhibitions, we also offer private tours with experienced art educators. These tours, which are non-refundable and must be reserved in advance, include immediate entry to exhibitions without waiting or queueing. The tours are carried out in a special group tour system which guarantees perfect acoustics transmission. We are also happy to organise exclusive private tours outside normal opening times for an extra charge.
We offer tours with sign-language interpreters. For wearers of hearing aids, we also offer teleloops. This makes it possible to participate without difficulty in a scheduled tour using the normal audio guides Tours for the Blind and People with Impaired Vision are also available as special tours for most exhibitions. Please check out of calendar for details.
We also offer an audio tour through the current exhibition in German and French by Antenna International.
Children, teenagers, families, school classes and kindergartens also have the option of taking part in the Museum Frieder Burda Kinderkunstwerkstatt (children’s art workshop), which features a high-quality and diverse programme of museum tours, workshops, courses and special events to accompany the museum exhibitions.
The guiding motto and aim of our work is to make art enjoyable for our visitors by presenting it in an accessible, practical and experiential way.
