Guided Tours
The Frieder Burda Museum offers a diverse educational program for all age groups. In addition to regular public tours of the current exhibitions, special tours led by experienced art educators can also be booked.
Public Tours
Our experienced art educators will guide you through the current exhibition every Saturday, Sunday, and on holidays at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and on Fridays at 3 p.m.

Every first Friday of the month,

Director’s Tour
With the exhibition *The Unfolding of Color: Simon Hantai*, the Museum Frieder Burda celebrates one of the most important figures of international postwar modernism. Artistic Director Dr. Daniel Zamani will lead guided tours of the exhibition on select dates. Look forward to fascinating insights and background information.

We use a modern group tour system that ensures a comfortable listening experience even within the exhibition spaces. Upon request, we can also organize exclusive tours outside of regular opening hours at special rates.

Private Family Tour
During a private family tour, children and adults explore the current exhibition at the Frieder Burda Museum together. An experienced instructor from the art workshop explains the artworks in an age-appropriate and engaging way, leaving plenty of room for questions, observations, and personal discoveries. The tour is accompanied by the FRIEDER activity booklet, which guides children through the exhibition in a playful way.
In addition to exciting insights for young visitors, the guided tour also offers adults interesting background information on the works on display and the artists.
This offer is intended for one or two families with children ages four to twelve.
